The other day I walked in the kitchen to find her eating her crackers at the table wearing just her little undies and a conductor hat. This girl cracks me up!

I had the absolute pleasure of heading with some great girls to Pittsburgh this weekend. We attended a Beth Moore conference and it was amazing! Pittsburgh is a sweet city, and I had no idea! We had so many laughs as well as just hearing some wonderful truth. Ok, Beth Moore is the tiniest and cutest little thing you've ever seen. We just kept saying how we wanted to put her in our back pocket and carry her around everywhere we go. Such dynamic teaching comes from that little woman though! Wow. Such good stuff. I feel like I am still processing the weekend, but I know that God is doing some new things in my heart.

Here we are doing a classic pose in front of the conference center:
Here is Jenny, Kate, and Marisa:

And last but not least...we met Miss Boomama herself! We just had to go say hello. She was one of the very first blogs I ever started reading several years ago and I've not stopped laughing since. And let me tell you, she is just as beautiful and sweet in person as she is on her blog. Seriously, you meet her and you feel like you've been friends for life. Look how cute she is:

she's funny

One of the kids' favorite cartoons is Super Why on PBS.  There is a story about a farmer who gets 3 wishes and he keeps wishing for silly things.  At one point, the fairy (or is it a genie, I don't remember!) says, "You wished it, I poofed it!".  Well Maya just came into the living room with her shiny silver wand.  She proudly walked up to Gibson, shook her wand and declared, "You wished it, I POOPED it!".
