say what?

Well our baby boy (who is now 15 months old!!!) is on another antibiotic once again. Can I just say it's definitely getting old?! I also get really concerned about the fact that he has been on an antibiotic of some kind for almost 6 months straight, with only a few days of break in between each cycle. Most of all I just can't wait for him to feel completely healthy. I'm not sure he knows what that feels like at all and that makes me sad! I'm praying this one kicks it for good!
The other thing that gets really crazy with all of this medical stuff is the fact that his name is not legally changed yet. So even though he goes by Silas, all of his medical things need to be done under Yigermal for insurance purposes. I had to spell his name about 10 different times today for doctors, nurses, or pharmacies. You should see the looks I get from people when I say his name. "Um, WHAT did you say?!" Listen, I know it sounds strange and very un-American, but I'm so proud of his heritage and his name that it makes me a little angry after awhile. Once we get our acts together and do our re-adoption here in Ohio his name will officially be Silas Yigermal Wing. Yigermal will always and forever be a part of his name and who he is, and that makes me very happy. :)
I wish I had a photo of him to post with this but I have been severely lacking in taking pics of my children lately! I have had some other photo shoots recently that I've been working on so that always makes me a little lazy with my camera here at home. Pics will be coming soon though, promise! :)

I love that you are cherishing his heritage! Hang in there, momma!

Oh I can so relate. I am asked to bring my son (Tensey Matthew Monberg) whenever we're at the doctor's office. April 9 is our re adoption and it cannot come soon enough!
